There is a place for every woman at the Airport Freeway church of Christ where each will find the opportunity to use the gifts God has given her.

The program is organized under the areas of involvement assigned to the Deacons.

Area of Service Service Details

Mary & Martha Program Coordinators

 Responsible for maintaining this list of service areas, planning/leading the annual kick off dinner for the new year sign up.Serve as check point for coordinators of service areas.

Buildings and Grounds Deacon

Kitchen Care

 Organize a time for cleaning the kitchen
every 6 months.
Auditorium Care
 Straighten Pew Books Pick up Litter
Foyer Care Straighten and Dust if needed

Education Deacon

Tuesday Morning Ladies Class

 Responsible for making sure there is a topic/teacher for class (Coordinator does not have to be the teacher.)

Wednesday Ladies Class

 Responsible for making sure there is a topic/teacher for class (Coordinator does not have to be the teacher.)

Classroom Care

 Select a classroom and keep it stocked with supplies.

Evangelism Deacon

Greeters

 Schedules members to greet visitors and others attending services.

Assisting New Members

 Meet new women members; keep them informed of activities.

Visitor Hand-outs

 Schedules members to provide hand-out for visitors

Encouragement Cards

 Responsible for making sure cards are available, signed, & mailed to members who are ill or need encouragement.

Ladies Retreat

 Plans annual retreat or workshop.

Ladies Communication Team

 Collects and submits information for Ladies Newsletter and for M&M column in Bulletin

Family Involvement Deacon

Baby and Wedding Showers

 Coordinates host/location for showers (coordinator not obligated to host showers).
Follows Shower Policy

Fellowship / New Member Involvement / Singles Involvement Deacon

Sister to Sister Program

 Goal is building relationships.
Scheduled on a monthly basis.

 Plans events for the Senior Saints at Airport Freeway

Spanish Ministry Deacon

Spanish Ministry

 Pick up kids from Spanish congregation for Kids for Christ Sunday
Provide cookies for the Wednesday “Friend Speak Program.”

Worship Deacon

Baptismal Garments

 Responsible for washing clothing and towels used for Baptisms.

Communion Bread

 Supplies Communion Bread.
Provides recipe

Nursery Staff

 Schedules members to provide hand-out for visitors

Encouragement Cards

 Schedules staff for Nursery during Sunday morning worship
